Technique classes

Open for those dancers who wish to improve their dance skills and learn new dance combinations. New session Aug 23rd- May.

Majestics competitive team 2010-2011 season

Team Registraion will reopen in May 2010. Audition is May 20th or call for an appointment or start classes in May and learn the tryout dance in class.

Dancers intrested in becoming apart of our competitive team please stop by for informative flyer.

Mark you calander in Aug....All team members will be attending a 2-3 day dance camp @ camp Cho Yeh to learn a portion of next years competition routines.

A little bit about our program...

The studio, Dance Works, opened in 1999 however the Majestics, have been around since 1985. We hold numerous National Titles in Jazz, Hip Hop , Lyrical, Modern, Pom, Militayry, Novelty and Prop. We also take pride in our Choreography, Technique and Judges awards. We are home to several State and National Solo champions. Our team brings home over 80 awards a year.

Although our Majestics Team members have a 99% success rate at making their High school dance team, we are so very proud to see them as part of their college dance programs and also working professionally with MA.

Why do we compete most of our dancers?

To keep our dancers technique and skill level at the top. We want the girls to see what is out there and set goals to acheive to be the best they can be. We want the girls to be technically trained and then be able to share that God given talent with others. That is why we like to say "we specialize in training dancers to be PERFORMERS!"

Each of our classes are designed to..

teach technique and proper placement
build endurance
emphasize dance terminology and memory
increase dance skills and flexibility

We are having a Fabulous Season

Way to go Jessica Kral, 2 time National Champion 2006 and 2009. Congrats on 2010 Nationals 3rd place out of 146 dancers. Jessica is also recieved 2 scholarships. Natalie Nunez also recieved a scholarship this year.

The Majestics are proud to take home over 80 team and solo awards this season. Grand Champion, Top Teams in Texas, Winner circle to name a few. Check out our awards on the contest page and get a printable version on the forms page.

Dance Works takes pride in preparing your daughter for her middle and high school dance program. We are excited to be represented in 6 fort bend high schools with 18 top dance officers. We would also like to congratulate all of them on their awards this season..

talent scout and producer Peter Skylar selected Kendal Clark, Kendal Zwang, Allison Strang, Daniel Torrey, Kristen Johnson and Mehgan Johnson to attend his acting, singing, dancing workshop in New York this summer.
